    Hello all, just stumbled across this project, i cant seem to find anything in the forums or on the site about text message alerts. Does this application send them out? (like bb).

      Yes, ZABBIX does send email alerts, also it may execute external scripts to send SMS, Win popup messages, Jabber, Novell broadcasts, etc etc.

      Notification of users is (one of) most important piece of functionality of ZABBIX!
