Cannot monitor host in dmz server

i have problem to monitor host in DMZ server. Agent on remote host start successfully but when look at the zabbix server log, it assuming that zabbix agent drop connection because do not have permission.
is it means that zabbix server outsider cannot monitor host in DMZ server? How if i want to monitor these remote host?
Is it proxy can solve this problem??

Firewall already disable..i can monitor use zabbix_agent(active) but
why cannot use zabbix_agent only like always..
i read somewhere said that, if we use zabbix_agent (active) it can pass the firewall. Now, what the really function of zabbix_agent active??
