i'm a noob so sorry if it's obvious my question.
i have installed zabbix server in my server. i didn't installed zabbix agent becouse i am said to monitor hosts with snmp or IPMI. so in my server i started snmp service.
in the zabbix web gui i created a host & attached an snmpv2 with snmpv1 template. i see that the SNMP icon is in green & the Z icon is in red. i guess that Z is in red because i don't use a zabbix agent but i use an snmp agent. when i go to configuration->hosts and i select a host that i created i see that there are a couple of things in App, Items & Triggers. if i select App, Items or Triggers i see that there are lots of things without error and some that are not supported and so its shown with error.
i have tried to create some graphs attaching items but it doesn't show nothing in the graphs once created.
if i press at the option of "Graphs" i see the graph that i created attached to one host & its says availability: not available, i don't understand this becouse snmp is available¿?
