Can't monitor OpenVPN tun0?

Hello all..

I'm trying to monitor an OpenVPN tun0 network interface with the following key:

net.if.out[tun0,bytes]

However, I am unable to recieve any data since it shows up as "Not supported"

I have been able to monitor this OpenVPN installation with Zenoss successfully before, and the tun0 interface shows up correctly on an 'ifconfig'.

Is this a bug? Does anybody have any success stories monitoring OpenVPN that they could share?

maybe the agent is started before the tunnel is setup ?
I'm guessing the agent lists interface at startup and don't see the openvpn one ?

have you tried restarting the agent after the openvpn come up ?
