How to configure a web scenario with authentication

I want to configure a web scenario to check that an intranet server is working.
I configure the step and choose basic authentication, i fill in the user and the password and save.

The error message is "Failed on **** [1 of 1] Error: Couldn't connect to server"

What can i do ?
