I’m not sure that you can set your graph to be displayed in particular colors on a certain weekdays

Have you checked «Show working time» option in graph configuration ?
With this option, week-ends have a grey background instead of white.

Thanks JBo, «Show working time» is checked in all graphs. But the background color doesn't change, weird...

Just to be sure, are you using a non default theme ?
With default theme, week-ends are greyed (see graph-default.png) but not with «black and blue» theme (graph-black-blue.png).

I am using the "Original blue" default theme. Changed to "Dark orange" then back again, no success.

Makes me wonder what version of GD you have in PHP. That sounds like it might be a place to look.

Finally figured it out, the solution is simple: working time was "1-7,00:00-24:00;", now I changed to "1-5,00:00-24:00;" and the background color for weekends is gray.
