    Audit/Verify Actions Fired?

    Greetings all,

    I have a question that I cannot seem to find information on from the forums or from Google searching.

    I have a ping trigger and an email action configured for a template. I know the configuration is sound because I have received alarms from it before.

    On two occasions, I have not received the "down" email but have received the "up" email.

    Is there anyway to confirm that Zabbix or the host system actually sent the message out? I know that the action should have triggered because my "latest data" for that period shows that pings were failing.

    I don't want to sound paranoid but due to the critical nature of communication with the host I am pinging, I cannot have a shadow of doubt that I'm not getting the email each and every time it triggers.

    Thoughts?

    in administration -> audit choose "actions" in the dropdown (upper right corner). all messages sent out should be recorded there, with error, if any

      You information was helpful and I was able to verify that Zabbix did not email when the host went down.

      When one puzzle is solved, a new one begins.
