Monitoring SAN Storage - DS3400

I need a method of using Zabbix to monitor our SAN, which is an IBM DS3400.

I have implemented SNMP as a template, but, I'm unsure how to actually achieve anything meaningful with the information.

We currently also use DS Manager from IBM, but, this can't really tell me anything in real time.

Any advice from anyone.
