    Problems with nodata() expression

    Hi,
    I have a trigger which is designed to fire when no data has been received for a period of time:

    {url.test[{$PORT} {$URL}].nodata(300)}=1

    However, I have seen a data gap occur of 10 minutes and the trigger didn't fire. instead it went into an unknown state.

    Can anyone comment on the validity of this expression for what I'm trying to achieve and what may be causing the trigger to go into an unknown state before recovering to an OK state?

    Regards,
    David

    p.s. The item linked to the trigger is an external check.
