    Update from 1.8.3 to 1.8.5

    Hello all,

I have a wonderfull 1.8.3 Zabbix on Red Hat 5 which I want to migrate to a new better machine on Debian 6. I considered to install the new Zabbix version 1.8.5 on the new one.

I saw that are some update routines for update from 1.6 to 1.8 considering the DB but I wonder how it is with an update from 1.8.3 to 1.8.5?

I am planning to dump the old MySQL DB from 1.8.3 and then I am going to insert it on the Machine with 1.8.5.
Sounds that reasonable? Should I take these upgrade DB scripts then? Is there some tables or fields that changed and would conflict with the old version?

    I'll appreciate any help!

    Thanks,
    Ira

no, there is no database patching required while upgrading from one minor release to another (like from any 1.8 to another 1.8 release)
