Hi,
I've read some posts on this, but, struggling to make any headway, and, looking for some clear, practical advice.
We currently utilise Zabbix to monitor a web page URL, on occasion due to load, it will time-out. However, as the web page check happens every 60 seconds, the next time the check is run, the web page 99.99% of the time, is available.
However, the web page check is set to 'Disaster' status, and, triggers each time. What we would want is if the same trigger 'fired' for 5 consecutive occasions, rather than on the first.
Obviously we could simply amend the trigger to run every 300 seconds, but, then this would likewise give a false reading.
So in essence, we are looking for triggers to escalate from normal through disaster following a progression of, if this trigger 'fires' for 5 consecutive occasions, THEN send an email alert.
Thanks
