Simpe Check : enlarge timeout

I am checking the availability of VPN connections.
Sometimes the VPN channels turn on time is about 3 seconds.
The Zabbix Simple check does not wait so long.
The Simple VPN check, remains in out of service state.

How could I enlarge the Simple check timeout.

Enlarge Timout=3 e.g. to 10
