Zabbix Event viewer help

Hey,
I have a problem with zabbix window event viewing things.
i've added agent to windows server, server to freebsd. etc.etc.
everything works fine .
used a manual on zabbix page for event viewing.
added templates etc.
but i cannot see any event errors ( ofcourse there is on server ).

can any body paste some links of configuring event viewer or smth?

Hey,

Type: Zabbix agent (active)
Key: eventlog[System]
Type of information: Log

Should do the trick.

Please note the (active) agent option and make sure that "DisableActive" is not set to 1 in zabbix_agentd.conf. Either 0 or remarked should work.

Nice, thank you for your help, disabling passive checks solved the problem
