I have briefly used zabbix but am not quite sure if its powerful enough to accomplish what I am needing. I am sure that it can monitor basic things such as hard drive space, cpu utilization, bandwidth, etc.
However I am unsure if it has the ability to monitor filesystems in both windows and linux. We are looking to monitor particular files in windows such as text or xml files but basically all files. We want to know if there are any changes made to a certain files.
Can someone please elaborate and let me know what zabbix is capable of doing?
