On-Call Rotation

It would be nice if there was a way to set an on-call rotation. So I setup my actions to send emails to a group, then I have an alias setup for SMS messages but I have to rotate who the alias sends SMS messages to.

It would be nice if we could have a way to scheule an on-call rotatation weeks or even months out

At a previous employer we handled that via the use of an external program. We had Zabbix execute an external script to send a message, it would then in turn query who it was supposed to receive the message and would then send it to the appropriate person. For now that will be your best way.
