I'm new to Zabbix (1.8.6 compiled from source on Debian) and really enjoy getting to know it.
I've started with a really simple system: one Linux server running Zabbix server (and agent) on 192.168.64.3 and another running just the agent (on 192.168.64.253). I'm getting the following error in syslog:
Aug 13 10:43:48 monitor Zabbix Server[21323]: Send list of active checks to [192.168.64.253] failed: host [adsl.my.lan] not found
Aug 13 10:44:52 monitor Zabbix Server[21323]: Sending list of active checks to [127.0.0.1] failed: host [monitor.my.lan] not found
[[email protected] (192.168.64.253)]
Server=192.168.64.3
Hostname=adsl.my.lan
[[email protected] (192.168.64.3)]
Server=127.0.0.1
Hostname=monitor.my.lan
Any ideas what I'm doing wrong here?
