I'm testing Zabbix thoroughly and there's one thing I want to do that seems to be impossible. Workarounds have been given in other threads of the forum (about maps), but they don't suit the situation.
Let's say I have many pools of servers, with and hostgroup for each pool. The server template defines a trigger for an Average event if one host is not functionnal. Now I'd like to receive High and Disaster events depending on how many servers go down within a pool (plain values, or better, a percentage).
I've looked at macros, functions, etc.. but can't find how to count the occurence of one event+value for a whole hostgroup.
This should use groups because the number of host varies often.
Do you know how to do that ?
