VFS.DEV.READ and VFS.DEV.READ Item type meanings

Hello,

I have one question regarding Zabbix agentd item VFS.DEV.READ and VFS.DEV.WRITE. There is a few types for this item: sectors, operations, sps, ops, bps. And I couldn't find anywhere in the Zabbix manual or etc where is description provided what means of these item types.

Of course I have some clues what means that, for example ops is operations per second. So can anybody give a short description of these item types.

Especially for LVM

I tried vfs.dev.read[/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00] which was supported but always returns 0.

I tried vfs.dev.read[/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol00,bps] which was not supported.

zabbix_get

These work with zabbix_get with an IP address, but not for -s 127.0.0.1. Hmmm...
