    snmp tempature value

    Hello
    Proberbly a stupid question, but i can not find it.

    I have a poseidon tempature meter in the server room.
    I fond a way to read the current temp on the device.

    The problem i am facing is that with a tempature of 18.6, the snmpget gives me 186

    #snmpget -v1 -c public 192.168.1.15 .1.3.6.1.4.1.21796.3.3.3.1.6.1
    SNMPv2-SMI::enterprises.21796.3.3.3.1.6.1 = INTEGER: 186

    So if i graph this output, it looks like the tempature is 186 degrees.

    Is there a way to convert 186 to 18.6.

    thanks for your time.
    regards,

      Thanks that was quick and it worked patialy

      it now reads only whole digits like 18, 19 and 20 , but not 19.4 and so on.

      I can life with it but it could be nicer!

      EDIT
      I think i found it i needed to use numeric float instead of numeric unsinged.

      Thanks again
