Monitoring Windows Services

Hi, is it correct, that it's not possible to monitor Windows-Services with Zabbix without a installed Zabbix-Agent on the target Server?

Because we use Zabbix to Monitor our Network-Switches and the Servers with Ping. And now we would like to Monitor the Windows-Services but don't want to install the Agent.
I think HostMonitor from KS-Soft is able to do it without agent...

why don´t you install the agent?!
