No Images in Zabbix 1.8 under Debian Lenny

    Hello Folks,

I do have an old known problem with my Zabbix-Installation. I cant upload pictures and I cant see the default pictures in Maps.

After installing Zabbix via apt-get I ran the images_mysql.sql over my MySql-Database, but nothing happend. After that I setted my database to utf-8 encoding, but still nothing changed.

Can you help me? Help is greatly appreciated, I do have a presentation on Wendesday and I would like to show some network-maps

    Thank you for your help!

If you are in a hurry you may use the zabbix Appliance:
    http://www.zabbix.com/forum/showthread.php?p=89355.
Or here - with zabbix presention from qix:

You can also find some maps here:

      Virtual Appliance

Thanks eskytthe for your quick help. Unfortunatly I cant use the virtual appliance.

I had a look into the zabbix mysql database. In the table "images" were lots of BLOB entrys instead of pathnames to the pictures. Is that right?

Does anyone had the same problem? I installed zabbix 1.8 on a Debian 5.0 Lenny via apt-get with backports. Works beatifully, except for the maps part which I need!

But thanks a lot for your help guys!
