GUI Messaging - Change Sound

Hi all,

Have done a few searches but have yet to find what I need.

How do we add sounds to use for the GUI messaging? The standard sounds are ok but we'd like to update.

I can find where to change which sound is being used but not where to put the sounds to give us more options.

Ok I've managed to get the sounds in and from the profile they are selectable however if I click the play button or an alert comes in no sound is played. Added the sounds by copying to the sounds folder so I'm guessing there is something I've missed.

Any ideas?

Yes we did in the end.

Have you got it so the sounds are selectable via the profile?

Yes, the sounds are showing in my profile but nothing happens when I click on play. Still using the default sounds for now before I start changing them.

What browser are you using? I got to the same place and on the board we have up in the office we were using firefox and the new sounds wouldn't work. Tried with Chrome and everything was ok.

Just tried it in firefox (8) and it works. IE 9 doesn't which is what I was using first... Many thanks.

What I've found strange is that some sounds work fine in some browsers and others work in different browsers. Can't explain why but glad you got it working.
