Windows Event Log Monitoring

Hi,

I have setup a master node and a child node. The child node resides in a different site from master node. They communicates over a ADSL line.

I enabled Windows Event log monitoring on the child node for around 20 hosts. Once I did this, my internet became unusable. I believe this is due to the child node sending all its data to the master node.

Is there a way to limit this traffic so that it does not affect my internet connection?
