    Alternative...

    Hello,

For Windows, to get my NICs statistics, I use Zabbix's own counters. This is how I set up my counters:

    Type: Zabbix Agent
Key: net.if.out["3Com 3C90x Ethernet Adapter"] (This could be net.if.out[{IPADDRESS}])
    Type of info: Numeric (float)
    Units: B/s

As to the perf_counter item, you've got it, but you must specify an instance like this:
    perf_counter["\510(instance1_which_is_the_name_of_your_NIC)\506"]

    Hope this helps
