windows event log - please help

i imported the windows logging template and it doesnt appear to work.

i am running windows 7 with the following config

Server=192.168.1.20
Hostname=al-pc
ListenPort=10050
StartAgents=5
DebugLevel=3
LogUnresolvedSymbols="yes"
PidFile=c:\zabbix\zabbix_agentd.pid
LogFile=c:\zabbix\zabbix_agentd.log
EnableRemoteCommands=1
LogRemoteCommands=1
Timeout=3
DisableActive=0

debug level 4 turned on

this is what i get

Get active checks error: *** Cannot connect to [[192.168.1.20]:10051]: [0x0000274C] A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

appreciate your help on this one.

i have been googling all day and cant find any solutions or leads

Hi,

I had the same error a few minutes ago.
Try to config the firewall on the zabbix machine as described here:
