Migrating Zabbix Server from Postgres 8.4 to Mysql 5.1

    Hi,
I'd like to migrate my Zabbix server. Actually it runs on a server with:
    - Ubuntu 10.04LTS x86_64
    - Zabbix Server release 1.8.2
    - Postgresql 8.4

    The destination server is:
    - Ubuntu 10.04LTS x86_64
    - Zabbix Server release 1.8.6 (from PPA)
    - Mysql 5.1

Probably there is a way to migrate data and configuration from one environment to the other.
Can someone point me in the right direction? I mean, Is there some kind of documentation?
    Thanks for any help!

I would suggest searching through the forums first. Look for people doing migrations from MySQL to PostgreSQL. You are the first person I can recall who is asking to go the other direction. The concepts and steps will be similar, however.

Well, in the end bosses hurried me so I did everything exporting objects in xml and importing then on the new server. Aside some syntax adjustment everything went smooth.
I'm not using the 1.8.8 because I want to rely on a build an hopefully stable version for Ubuntu. The 1.8.6 from ppa gave me more confidence...

        Thanks!
