Please can someone give me a hand with template linkage in Beta7? I've read the various forum posts but I can't get my head around it!
I have a host called "MyHost" which is a Linux server running a number of applications. I have created a templated called "tpl_Linux_host" which contains the basic Linux OS items (diskspace, memory usage, etc). The host is currently linked to this template.
I have also created a number of individual templates for the various applications which run on the server such as MySQL, Apache, etc. How do I link these templates to "MyHost"?
The reason I have created seperate templates for each application is so I can link the template to the hosts which run MySQL, and not link them to those which don't. This avoids me having to manually create items on the various hosts.
