update zabbix 1.8.6 to 1.8.8

maybe stupid question, but ..

I got zbx server 1.8.6 on Debian - zbx 1.8.8 is not yet in debian repo, how can I update from 1.8.6 to 1.8.8 (downloaded 1.8.8 from sf.net)

this should still work for 1.8.8 but i'd check documentation to make sure there are no database commands you need to run.

installed few dev packages - libcurl, snmp & mysql - compiled & installed ...
