Reset trigger ?

I'm wondering. In the case where you have active triggers, it is possible to do a "reset" of the trigger which reset the trigger status and re-check the item ? I know I can Ack'em, but for all I know it does not actually do anuthing about the trigger status.

Mof what are you trying to achive as the trigger will be rechecked on the next time period?
