Table autoreg_host

Hello,

can anyone tell me for what the table autoreg_host is needed?
The table has three columns - autoreg_hostid, proxy_hostid and host.

In the proxy_hostid column are values from hosts, they do not exist anymore. So it is possible to delete this table manually or is there a function in zabbix that will clear this table?

I will not damage the zabbix installation - it runs quite good

I have the same question. This table exists with old data, and it appears Zabbix-Server keeps trying to connect to those hosts. Can I simply truncate the table or is there some other procedure to clean these up? We do not use auto-registration of hosts.
