Where is the agent source?
Alternatively, has someone made a oracle linux precompiled agent available?

I have downloaded the source from

zabbix agent install location make vs docs discrepency

The docs you cite:
http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/...e#zabbix_agent

describe the agent being installed under /opt

But when you run the make install it ends up under /usr/local
/usr/local/sbin/zabbix_agentd
/usr/local/sbin/zabbix_agent
/usr/local/bin/zabbix_sender
/usr/local/bin/zabbix_get

Just an FYI
