How to monitor apache logs in zabbix

Hello ,

I am trying to monitor access_log of apache server. I have attached the image of zabbix web interface for monitoring apache log file.

Key is not completely visible in the image so i am going to type it

Key - log["/var/log/httpd/access_log",,"UTF-8",100]

After adding this, zabbix status is showing Not Supported and no log record is fetching form the file.
Please anyone check the configuration and guide me accordingly.

Make sure that the zabbix user has access to read the access log. Tail your zabbix_agentd.log and see if it's complaining about permission issues.

Thanks mpre the issue is solved.

I checked the zabbix_agentd.log and It was complaining about permission issues. i have set the permission and now its working. thanks again for your advice.

What are you monitoring for in the access log? trying to gather total hits, or certain specific values?
