Adding more triggers for Cisco 3750-48TS

We're on Zabbix 1.8.6 which comes with a template for the Cisco 3750-48TS switch. It has only one trigger to monitor switch restarts.

Are there any other triggers I can use for this switch such as to monitor a port that goes down, or excessive usage on a particular port? I know how to make triggers in general, but have never made one for a particular switch.

I would prefer to have a simple trigger to monitor all ports, rather than making an identical trigger for the many ports the switch has.

I'm just trying to get more functionality out of this template for this switch as it currently only shows graphs and has only 1 trigger.

you can make triggers for whatever you want that you're polling data for.

But I don't know how to make one to monitor if a particular port goes down. I want the trigger to tell me "interface if/0/12 is down" (or excessively high utilisation) for example.

Thanks all. It is rather confusing. I've made triggers before for Windows and Linux machines but stuck on this one. Specifically, the current Cisco template for this switch comes with triggers to monitor some ports activity. But doesn't come with triggers for some of the other ports.

Someone can export this template for Zabbix 2.0?

Please check this link. Perhaps you can find template there.
Or you can use template generator from here.
