    Zabbix Server and Oracle RAC

I'm currently running Zabbix 1.9.8 and connecting to an Oracle RAC instance. The one thing I haven't been able to figure out is how to specify multiple DB hosts for fail over purposes. Currently I just connect directly to the DB using it's IP address. Is it possible to configure Zabbix Server to connect to an RAC instance via a connect string or other method for failover?

      Hey zychonatic,

We actually changed awhile back to using MySql/MariaDB (for other reasons). When we were running Oracle we ended up putting a VIP in front of it since we couldn't supply a connection string.
