    Zabbix rapidly increasing storage space(?)

    Hey,

I've been using Zabbix for about a half a year now.
When I first got it it was hardly 2GB.
    Now it's reached almost 14GB(!).
Besides a few minor scripts I have nothing else running on the VM that's running Zabbix.
What could be causing this growth and how can I prevent it?

    Thanks!

How many items do you have?
What is value for "Required server performance, new values per second?"
How often are you gathering new data? In other words, what do you have for your item`s update interval?
For how long do you keep item`s history, actions, and events?

Bottom line, disk usage can be caused by lot of things

I have 7 servers fully monitored plus about 20 URLs that are being sampled each minute.
My money's on "History" being saved.
Now my question is, how do I erase it?

        Erasing Hisotry

For each item you can define the history before it trends and then finally gets deleted. You can also delete hsitroy on each item.

          ibdata1? Maybe

Check /var/lib/mysql and make sure ibdata1 isn't growing out of control.

If you want to delete history for lot of items you can also manipulate with DB, but have to be careful here

Yeah...way too many items to do it manually.
              I guess I'll backup first :-\
