Creating Triggers and Actions for Traffic on a Router's Interface

Hi All,

I'm having a problem configuring triggers and actions in Zabbix 1.8.9.

My objective is to receive email based on a threshold value of traffic on an interface. For example, if the traffic passing an interface reaches for example 12Mbps, I want to receive an email of that event.

I created the trigger and action for this but I'm not successful. Can anybody assist me on this?
