How to execute External Check on a remote host

    Hi,

I try to monitor some host with "external check".

I create a bash script called "check_glsa" and put it on the good directory (/etc/zabbix/externalscripts).
I set up a item whose type is "external check" why key : check_glsa[]

The items works ! But didn't work on the remote host.. The value returned by the items was the zabbix Server's value instead of remote host's value.

User Parameters use, involves installing scripts on each of remote server, and it's not really usefull.

How can i execute this external check on the monitored host ?

    Thanks,

    Bastien,

    Sorry for my english..

    Hi,

You should use custom parameters in zabbix agent.
    Check the documentation for details.
