separate zabbix e-mail notification

hi guys,

I was just wondering, if I can set e-mail notification just for few servers monitored by zabbix, to send e-mail notifications to different e-mail (user). Right now, all the triggers are sending e-mails to zabbix admins etc.

I just need e-mail notification from triggers of few servers to be sent to another e-mail as well - I don't want all the triggers's emails to be sent to another e-mail by just adding that e-mail to group.

I hope you understand what I meant.

A few ways..

There are a few ways to tackle this issue (if I understand it correct).

What I do is create a separate host group for lets say the database servers and I put all these hosts I want the DBAs to get emailed for in this host group. Then I simply create a new trigger which looks like this:



Basically it looks like just my standard action which emails everyone in operations but this one restricts hosts to the host group "Oracle Database Servers" and the action is to email the users in the Zabbix group "Database Administrators" this way they only get emails they care about.

thanks so much, I already did it few days ago with separate group of administrators and host group - with trigger notification only of those servers, which were needed, thanks so much again ..
