Connection problem when try to authorizy Jabber account

Hi,
i try to configure Zabbix 1.8.10 to send notification via IM jabber, in web interface i add jabber media type and configure it with my jabber account.
But in zabbix_server.log file i get the next error:

JABBER: [<user_name>@jabber.org] connection failed: [110] C

i fink it is because i use proxy server to connect to the external resource.
Can anybody tell me if is a possible to configure zabbix connecting to jabber server via proxy ?
in OS where zabix_server daemon is installed env HTTP_PROXY is seted with proper address.
