Log monitoring
Hi,
I'm having serious trouble getting logfile monitoring to work, documentation on this is scarce and I am not sure how it is supposed to work.
I have created an item (Zabbix active check). Type of information is set to Log. Log time format is empty.
log["/path/to/logfile",,,]
The logfile is readable to the zabbix user. Active checks are not disabled in the agent.
I have enabled debugging and can see that it is processing the item, but Latest data does not show anything. I also created a trigger on this item but the trigger is in error state saying "Trigger was just added". And now it says "Zabbix was restarted".
Zabbix 1.8.3.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
