I am investigating Zabbix as a possible alternative to Cacti. I would like to learn more about the configuration of the data granularity and aggregation. Is this something you have full control over or is it set by the system to automatically "roll up" the data at set intervals.
I am specifically looking to keep 1 minute granularity for a long period of time 6 - 12 months. I understand there will be database size issues.
Is this in your control? Also, I looked through the manual but could find the information regarding this. If it is documented some place I will happily do the reading.
