How to monitor a web service

Hello,

I am a zabbix newbie. I tried to monitor a web service on port 8080. I use simple check http<,port> for it but always when I push the save button I get a a error which says "error in item key: Invalid item key format". I tried different ways. Please help me. Here's a screenshot.

You don't need the < >

So just put:

http,8080
