    Editting triggers.

    Greetings,

Is it possible to edit existing triggers in Zabbix? For example, looking at one of our hosts, we have the following trigger:

Host.Unix:Too many processes on (hostname) {(hostname)roc.num[].last(0)}>300

Well, the host in question normally has over 300 processes, so we'd like to boost the number of processes before Zabbix sends out a warning. The problem is, we can't figure out how to do it - we're aware we can disable this specific trigger and just create a different one with a modified number, but is there any way to edit the existing trigger?

Hoping we're just missing something un/obvious.

    Thanks,

    - Gary

you don't mention which version you are running so it's hard to say.

    short answer:

if you are running 1.1beta7 or above and it is a trigger that is inherited from a template than no, you need to disable it and create a new one.

if you are running beta6 or less, or if it is a trigger that is directly defined on the host then you should be able to edit it.

Ah - sorry, knew I forgot something. 1.1beta7, and the trigger is inherited from the Unix.host template. So, that answers the question.

      Thanks for your help, elkor
