Complexe trigger - Need help

Hi,

First of all, excuse my poor english, I'm french Canadian ....

Here is the statement of our need, we must be notified as soon as the size of a file has not changed in 30 minutes and we want to be informed within 5 minutes when the situation is corrected

I have an item that allows me to read the size of a file every 5 minutes.
I need to create a trigger that will activate if the last read 6 values (5*6=30 min) are the same.


I think having to use the count function but I don't know what syntax to use in this situation

Somethink like that ?

{host:vfs.file.size[myfile].count(#6, ???,"eq"}=6

Need your help please

Our zabbix version is 1.8.4 zabbix.

a number of ways you can accomplish this

here is one that I think it would work:
{host:vfs.file.size[myfile].avg(1800)} = {host:vfs.file.size[myfile].last(0)}

That will alarm if over 30 mins of time the average = to the last captured value.
The alert would clear within a 5min time frame since you have an update interval of 5mins.
