Zabbix email address handling

Hi,
Can someone explain how I can get actions to deliver to an email address containing apostrophes? For example, Mike.O'[email protected]?

In media configuration I'm unable to quote the email address so am at a loss how to get mail delivered to this particular user without using an external script.

i believe that is a valid address, so.. could you please report a new zbx ?

Hi,
I've realised that this was caused by the permissions of the user account. Because the action failed silently I didn't realise permissions were in play.

Perhaps actions shouldn't fail silently like this?

they don't fail, they just don't get triggered.
doing it otherwise would result in a pretty huge amount messages being generated...
