Get data from POST client in Zabbix

Hello,

One of the devices I'd like to supervise in Zabbix is using a POST client to send data (temperature + counter).

Is there any possibility to GET the data into Zabbix ? I thought it was possible with the API but after hours of tries, I did not find it.

I do not know what a post client is, but commen ways to get data into the zabbix server is zabbix_sender
http://www.zabbix.com/documentation/.../zabbix_sender
or eg. User Parameters (in agent config file). Both can be done from a server with a agent, or from the zabbix server.
