Cases where there is no solution to the alarm, what to do to pollute the viewing

    Hello,

I would like to share with you a case I believe that is more process than internal tool, but it may be that someone has been there and can give your opinion.

If we have a warning of disk space for a server and you do not have to do, or need to buy disks and it will take a long time, what you do with the alarm?

The question is, keeping the display of alerts that really need to be treated, as can be causing an operational error by a lack of internal viability.

    -Disables monitoring item?
    -Enable a maintenance window?
(Risks - Do not forget to collect information and enable when changing discs)

-Enroll in inventory information and keep monitoring?

    Thank you.

You should set the event as Acknowledged
describing the reason you took that action.

This way the maintenance team will know that event is not critical, and is pending of some action.
As soon as the Trigger threshold for the next severity over that item(s) is breached, you will receive a new alert.

        Sandro,

you can set an event as acknowledged in the Dashboard, Last 20 issues
and clicking in the corresponding Ack row

mark as you say you seen? if I do this, but the alarm is increasing the screen and with a large number of events is bad to manage.

I want this kind of event does not stay on the screen.

The Last 20 issues table always shows the most current active events,
so it will eventually be replaced by a newer one.

I will explain in portuguese if any further doubt remains.
