Actions/Sending Messages Help

Hi there.

I need help understanding how message sending works. For example, there is "Delay between messages" and "Repeat" options present.

What is the purpose of these two options? What will happen when I set delay to 600 sec (for example) and no repeats? What if I set to repeat with some period?

What is the default behaviour of messaging system if some trigger is ON for a long period of time?
