Installing Zabbix for the first time

I have install Zabbix for the first time on a Ubuntu server. I am having some issues with the menu. I think I am missing some files. Any help would be appreciated in getting this fixed.

I am running 1.8.5 Zabbix just to get it installed and 11.04 Ubuntu server

Same problem!

Running ubuntu 12.04 with PHP 5.3.10, using frontend pkg from repositories or using the frontend from src 1.8.13 the results are the same.

firebug says that all referenced files load without inconvenient, but display the same error about missing functions.
