    My question is very simple

    Is there a documentation which help a newbie like me to parameter (not to instal, i installed with your documentation) step by step an envirronment because i am lost
    i do not know the way to configure it. I would like to test with one machine before configurated 20 machine on linux and solaris (disk space, process, CPU, RAM ...)

      as far as I know there are'nt any but if you ask someone may eventually help you out....

      read the documentation on "Items" at http://www.zabbix.com/manual/v1.1/config_items.php

      could be clearer but yuo should be able to find what you are looking for or at least it will point you in the right direction.

        Please find the list of parameters which might be helpful to you:

        Percentage of disk space used by the file system / - vfs.fs.size[/,pused]
        CPU Utilization User in percentage - system.cpu.util[all,user]
        CPU Utilization Idle in percentage - system.cpu.util[all,idle]
        Free disk space / in KB(you can get in other units like MB and GB by using multipliers) - vfs.fs.size[/,free]
        Free memory - vm.memory.size[free]
        Free swap space - system.swap.size[,free]
        Host uptime - system.uptime
        Processor Load 1 Min Avg - system.cpu.load[,avg1]
        Server Availability - icmpping
        Total disk space / - vfs.fs.size[/,total]
        Total memory - vm.memory.size[total]
        Total swap space - system.swap.size[,total]

        These are the basic parameters required for availability and performance monitoring
